We get it.
The first photo from the next “Star Wars” movie is about as good as it gets.
And, as anyone who’s seen a first look at the trailer for this new entry in the saga knows, the final scene of the movie has a whole lot more action and excitement to it than the previous installments.
But what’s the point of having the first look?
The first shot is just a glimpse of what’s to come, and we’re not getting any of that right now.
As soon as the first image hits, you’ve got a big pile of things waiting for you, and you’ll be surprised by how much stuff you see in that first shot.
We know that it’s supposed to be a teaser, but we still feel like the first shots are pretty much useless.
The last few seconds of the video aren’t exactly a spoiler for the film itself, but they’re still worth mentioning.
And there’s no way that the first shot will be all that good.
It looks like an unedited version of what the director wants you to see, but it also looks like the director forgot to get the sound right, and the music and sound effects are off.
It’s just an unprofessional mess.
And even when it does look like it has the right sound, the footage looks like a cheap copy of the last teaser.
It still looks like it was shot in a hurry, and it looks like someone was trying to cram everything into an hour-and-a-half long trailer.
And it looks a lot like this image of Harrison Ford’s new face from “Star Trek Into Darkness”:
